The Diocese of Agartala (Latin: Dioecesis Agartalanus ) is a located in India Roman Catholic diocese based in Agartala.

History

The Diocese of Agartala was established on 11 January 1996 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Venerabiles Fratres out of territory of the Diocese of Silchar and the Archdiocese of Shillong is a suffragan. First bishop was Lumen Monteiro CSC.
