History
The Diocese of Alexandria - Cornwall was born on January 21, 1890 by Pope Leo XIII. built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Kingston Diocese of Alexandria than in Ontario and this is a suffragan. The Diocese of Alexandria in Ontario was renamed on September 17, 1976 in Diocese of Alexandria - Cornwall.
