The Diocese of Ambato (Latin: Dioecesis Ambatensis, Spanish: diócesis de Ambato ) is a located in Ecuador Roman Catholic diocese based in Ambato.

History

The Diocese of Ambato was founded on February 28, 1948 by Pope Pius XII. built out of territory of the Archdiocese of Quito and this is a suffragan.
