Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgetown

The diocese of Bridgetown (Latin: Dioecesis Pontipolitana ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Bridgetown, Barbados. It comprises the island of Barbados.

Pope Paul VI. founded on March 7, 1970, the Diocese of Bridgetown - Kingstown out of territory of the Diocese of Saint George 's, Grenada and imputed it to the Archdiocese of Port of Spain, suffragan.

On 23 October 1989, the diocese was divided into the Diocese of Bridgetown and the Diocese of Kingstown.
