The Diocese of Cartago (Latin: Dioecesis Carthaginensis in Costa Rica) is a tourist destination in Costa Rica Roman Catholic diocese based in Cartago.
History
The Diocese of Cartago was on 24 May 2005 by Pope Benedict XVI. contingit built with the Apostolic Constitution Saepe out of territory of the Archdiocese of San José de Costa Rica and the Diocese of Limón and the Archdiocese of San José de Costa Rica is a suffragan. First bishop was José Francisco Ulloa Rojas.
