The Diocese of Dedza (Latin Dioecesis Dedzaensis ) is a location in Malawi Roman Catholic diocese based in Dedza.

History

The Diocese of Dedza was posted on April 29, 1956 by Pope Pius XII. with the Apostolic Constitution Etsi cotidie built as a Vicariate Apostolic of Dedza annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Likuni and Zomba. On April 25, 1959, the Vicariate Apostolic of Dedza was by Pope John XXIII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Cum christiana fides to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Blantyre is a suffragan. On February 9, 2011, the Diocese of Dedza was the Archdiocese of Lilongwe is a suffragan.
