Roman Catholic Diocese of Hsinchu

The diocese of Hsinchu (Latin Dioecesis Hsinchuensis ) is a diocese located in the Republic of China to the Roman Catholic church located in Hsinchu. It comprises the north-western part of Taiwan.

History

Pope John XXIII. founded it with the Apostolic Constitution In Taipehensi on March 21 in 1961 of territory of the Archdiocese of Taipei and was subordinate to him as suffragan.
