Roman Catholic Diocese of Kole

The Diocese of Kole (Latin: Dioecesis Kolensis ) is a located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo Roman Catholic diocese based in Kole.

History

The Diocese of Kole was born on June 14, 1951 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Catholicam ad fidem out of territory of the Apostolic Vicariate of Léopoldville as Apostolic Prefecture Kole. On September 14, 1967, the Apostolic Prefecture Kole was by Pope Paul VI. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Sacram Gospel to the diocese.

The Diocese of Kole is the Archdiocese of Kananga is a suffragan.
