Roman Catholic Diocese of Kontum

The Diocese of Kontum (Latin: Dioecesis Kontumensis ) is a location in Vietnam Roman Catholic diocese based in Kon Tum.

History

Pope Pius XI. founded the Apostolic Vicariate of Kontum with the Breve Decessores nostro on January 18, 1932 annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Quinhon.

With the Apostolic Constitution Venerabilium Nostrorum it was collected on 24 November 1960 bishopric. On 22 June 1967, lost part of its territory to the Diocese of Ban Me Thuot.
