Roman Catholic Diocese of Marsabit

The Diocese of Marsabit (Latin: Dioecesis Marsabitensis ) is a location in Kenya Roman Catholic diocese based in Marsabit.

History

The Diocese of Marsabit was posted on November 25, 1964 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Arcana Isaiae of cessions of territory of the diocese of Nyeri and the Archdiocese of Nairobi is a suffragan. On 21 May 1990, the Diocese of Marsabit was the Archdiocese of Nyeri is a suffragan. The Diocese of Marsabit was on June 15, 2001 from parts of its territory to the founding of the Diocese of Maralal.
