Roman Catholic Diocese of Neyyattinkara

The Diocese of Neyyattinkara (Latin: Dioecesis Neyyattinkaraensis ) is a located in India Roman Catholic diocese based in Neyyattinkara.

History

The diocese of Neyyattinkara was established on 14 June 1996 by Pope John Paul II with the Apostolic Constitution Ad aptius out of territory of the Diocese of Trivandrum and the Archdiocese Verapoly a suffragan. First bishop was Vincent Samuel.

On 17 June 2004, the diocese of Neyyattinkara was the Archdiocese of Trivandrum is a suffragan.

Territory

The Diocese of Neyyattinkara includes the holdings situated in Thiruvananthapuram taluks Nedumangad and Neyyatinkara in the state of Kerala.
