Roman Catholic Diocese of Rulenge–Ngara
The diocese Rulenge - Ngara (Latin: Dioecesis Rulengensis - Ngaraensis ) is a location in Tanzania Roman Catholic diocese based in Rulenge.
History
The diocese Rulenge - Ngara was posted on April 8, 1929 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Apostolic Constitution ad fidem Catholicam of annexations of the Apostolic Vicariate Tabora and Uganda as Apostolic Vicariate of Bukoba.
On March 25, 1953, the Apostolic Vicariate of Bukoba was by Pope Pius XII. charged with the Apostolic Constitution Quemadmodum ad Nos to the diocese and the Archdiocese of Tabora is a suffragan. The Diocese of Bukoba was renamed on 21 June 1960 in the diocese of Rulenge. On November 18, 1987, the diocese was Rulenge the Archdiocese of Mwanza is a suffragan. The diocese was Rulenge 14 August 2008 parts of its territory from the foundation of the diocese Kayanga. On 14 August 2008 the diocese was renamed the Diocese Rulenge Rulenge - Ngara.
