The diocese of Salgueiro (Latin: Dioecesis Salicensis ) is a location in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Salgueiro, Pernambuco state.

History

The diocese of Salgueiro was on 16 June 2010 by Pope Benedict XVI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Valde sollicitus of annexations of the dioceses Floresta and Petrolina and the Archdiocese of Olinda e Recife is a suffragan. First bishop was Magnus Henrique Lopes OFM Cap.
