The Diocese of Petrolina (Latin: Dioecesis Petrolinensis ) is a located in Brazil Roman Catholic diocese based in Petrolina, Pernambuco state.
History
The Diocese of Petrolina was posted on November 30, 1923 by Pope Pius XI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Dominicis gregis of cessions of territory of the Diocese of Pesqueira and the Archdiocese of Olinda e Recife is a suffragan.
