History

The Diocese of Singida was born on March 25, 1972 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution In primaeva Ecclesiae out of territory of the dioceses Dodoma, Mbeya and Mbulu and the Archdiocese of Tabora and the Archdiocese of Tabora is a suffragan.
