The Diocese of Tura (Latin: Dioecesis Turanus ) is a located in India Roman Catholic diocese based in Tura.

History

The Diocese of Tura was born on March 1, 1973 by Pope Paul VI. built with the Apostolic Constitution Romani pontiffs of cessions of territory of the Archdiocese of Shillong - Guwahati and this is a suffragan. On March 30, 1992, the Diocese of Tura were parts of its territory from the foundation of the Diocese of Guwahati.

Territory

The Diocese of Tura includes the districts of East Garo Hills and West Garo Hills in the state of Meghalaya and Goalpara district of Assam.
