Roman Catholic Diocese of Weihui

The Diocese of Jixian (Latin: Dioecesis Nganlomensis ) is a Roman Catholic diocese based in Anyang in the People's Republic of China.

History

Pope Pius IX. founded the Apostolic Vicariate of Honan on March 2, 1844. On August 28, 1882, the Apostolic Vicariate Apostolic vicariate was divided into the northern Honan and the Apostolic Vicariate Südhonan. On August 2, 1929, adopted the name " Apostolic Vicariate Weihuifu ".

On 7 July 1936, lost part of its territory in favor of the establishment of the Apostolic Xinxiang Prefecture. With the Apostolic Constitution Quotidie Nos it was raised on April 11, 1946 Diocese.
