Roman Catholic Diocese of Yola
The Diocese of Yola (Latin: Dioecesis Yolaensis ) is a location in Nigeria Roman Catholic diocese based in Yola.
History
The Diocese of Yola was posted on July 14, 1950 by Pope Pius XII. built with the Apostolic Constitution Ad Evangelizationis out of territory of the diocese Buéa and the Apostolic Prefectures Jos and Oturkpo as Apostolic Prefecture of Yola. The Apostolic Prefecture of Yola was born on July 2, 1962 by Pope John XXIII. with the Apostolic Constitution Christianae Reipublicae regendae raised to the bishopric. On 3 February 1995, the diocese of Yola were parts of its territory from the foundation of the built with the Apostolic Constitution Quo efficacius diocese Jalingo.
The Diocese of Yola is the Archdiocese of Jos is a suffragan.
