Romania women's national football team
The Romanian women 's national soccer team represents Romania in international women's football. The national team is subordinated to the Romanian Football Federation and is coached by Maria Delicoiu. The Romanian selection is the most powerful Southeastern European team, but could not previously qualify for a major tournament.
In qualifying for the 2011 World Cup, the team met in an Eastern European Group on Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina. With only 2 wins against Bosnia and Herzegovina and two draws only the penultimate group space was occupied.
In the FIFA World Ranking Romania fluctuated in recent years between # 31 (May 2006) and No. 39 (March 2007 ); currently is ranked No. 36.

Algarve Cup
The national team participated twice at the Algarve Cup and played while in Group C, competing in the first of the weaker teams against each other. It was 2010, the Group completed the winner and then Placement Match for 7th place against Finland, the Fourth of group A are obtained.
