Rongai
Rongai is a town with about 25,000 inhabitants in the Rift Valley Province in Kenya. Rongai is located in Nakuru district.
Traffic
Rongai is located about 30 km west of the district capital of Nakuru on the A 104 and stop the Uganda Railway. The branch line of the Uganda Railway to Solai has now been decommissioned, but the tracks are still there.
Infrastructure
In addition to several schools Rongai has an agriculturally oriented college and a health center.
Attractions
The station building from the colonial period is well preserved and houses the remains functional signal circuit.

The based on the autobiographical novel by Stefanie Zweig film Nowhere in Africa by Caroline Link was partially filmed at original locations in Rongai.
