Ronnie Baxter

Ronnie Baxter ( born February 5, 1961 in Blackpool, North West England ) is an English darts player, nicknamed " The Rocket ", which is well known for its robotic throwing style.

Career

Since the mid- 1990s, Baxter is one of the outstanding players on the world stage; he reached in 1999 and 2000 two consecutive time the finals of the Embassy World Professional Darts Championship.

In 2002 he moved from the British Darts Organisation ( BDO) to rival Professional Darts Corporation ( PDC) and now occurs in primarily transmitted by the television channel Sky Sports tournaments.

Baxter won the final of the Sunday events against Antonio Alcina 6-4 in the first Players Championship Weekend 2011. His second player Championship Tournament 2011, he won the Canadian Masters Players Championship 28 August 2011 6-2 against Kevin Painter.

Private

Ronnie Baxter operation with his wife Rachael in Cirencester a pension. Previously, he was living in Church, Lancashire. From the guest house and his wife, he has, however, now separated and moved back to his hometown of Blackpool.
