Rossiya (English: State Transport Company Rossiya, Russian Государственная транспортная компания « Россия » ) is a Russian state-owned airline based in Saint Petersburg and based on its airport Pulkovo. She performs both public scheduled flights as well as flights for the Russian government.

History

Early years

In 1992, the national airline Aeroflot was divided into independent regional airlines. Merger with Pulkovo Airlines

Since 2003, a merger of the company with the Russian airline Pulkovo Airlines was sought. Finally, the merger on October 29, 2006 was announced.
