The airport Rotterdam - The Hague ( officially: Rotterdam The Hague Airport (formerly Dutch): Luchthaven Zestienhoven ) is located about 6 km north of the city center of Rotterdam and has a passenger volume of around 1.2 million passengers annually of the Netherlands third largest airport. However, in the Netherlands the Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the largest airport, is much larger and produces the same period about 50 times as many passengers from.
Airlines and destinations
Lufthansa CityLine has been flying since October 1, 2012 twice daily from Munich to Rotterdam.
Other objectives are: Friedrichshafen, Vienna, Salzburg, Innsbruck, London Stansted, London Luton, London City Airport, London Gatwick, Barcelona and Rome.

Approach
An airport shuttle operates between the Rotterdam Central Station and the airport. Also from Amsterdam Central Station is a shuttle service that also Schiphol, The Hague and Delft served.
