Rovaniemi sub-region

The administrative community Rovaniemi (Finnish Rovaniemen seutukunta ) is one of six administrative Communities ( seutukunta ) in Finnish Lapland landscape. It includes the eponymous Rovaniemi, Lapland 's largest city, and the south adjoining municipality Ranua. The rural municipality of Rovaniemi also belonged to the administrative community until it was amalgamated into the town of Rovaniemi in early 2006.
