Torne Valley Sub-region

Tornio Valley (Finnish Torniolaakso ) is the name of one of six administrative Communities ( seutukunta ) in Finnish Lapland landscape. As the name suggests it includes the Finnish, the eastern part of the valley of the River Torne Valley called Finnish-Swedish border river Tornio (Swedish Torne älv ). To manage Community Tornio Valley include the two municipalities Pello and Ylitornio.
