Royce D. Applegate
Royce D. Applegate, called Roy Applegate ( born December 25, 1939 in Danbury, Connecticut, † January 1, 2003 in Los Angeles, California ) was an American actor.
Life
Roy Applegate's most famous role was that of Chief Manilow Crocker on the first season of the Steven Spielberg TV series SeaQuest DSV.
Applegate also starred in Gettysburg (1993 ) and Gods and Generals (2003) the role of Major General of the Confederacy in the Civil War and later Governor of Virginia James L. Kemper.
New Year's Eve of 2003, he died in a fire at his home in Hollywood Hills ( suburb of LA). He left a son named Scott D. Applegate.
