Rubens Bertogliati

Rubens Bertogliati ( born May 9, 1979 in Lugano ) is a Swiss former racing cyclist.

Career

Bertogliati was professional in 2000 when cycling team Lampre- Daikin and achieved his greatest success as a member of that team by the stage win in the Tour de France in 2002 where he also captured the yellow jersey and wore two days. In 2004, he joined the team Saunier Duval- Prodir.

End of the 2012 season, he finished his career as a professional cyclist. His last two seasons, he played in the team Team Type 1
