Rubicon is an American television series from the year 2010. The idea for the series was Jason Horwitch, showrunner of the series was Henry Bromell. Rubicon is the third series of the station AMC, however, failed to reach a breakthrough as Mad Men and Breaking Bad and was discontinued after the first season due to insufficient number of spectators.
Action
The series is about an information analyst at a national think tank. He finds out that his employees need to be part of a secret society that manipulates the events around the world.
Production and broadcasting
The first and only season consists of 13 episodes.
On 13 June 2010, the 46 -minute pilot episode was aired in advance as a preview after the season finale of the third season of Breaking Bad. On 25 July the regular broadcasting of Rubicon began with a repeat of the first episode, the 13th and last episode of the series ran on October 17, 2010. On 11 November 2010 the channel AMC officially announced the cancellation of the series known.
There are no plans for the series on DVD or publish Blu- ray. In the United States, the series on Amazon Instant Video can be retrieved.
