Ruedi Wild
Ruedi Wild ( born April 3, 1982 in Richterswil ) is a Swiss duathlete, triathlete and reigning Swiss Triathlon champion ( 2011, 2012, 2013).
Career
Ruedi Wild is since 2000 member of the Swiss Triathlon Team and starts at Elite B- squad. He was a member of the Swiss Triathlon Team London 2012.
2009 and 2010 he was with the Swiss team triathlon world champion in the team sprint standings.
In 2011 he became vice - world champion with the Swiss team in Lausanne. In August 2011, Wild in Uster Swiss Triathlon champion on the Olympic distance (1.5 km swim, 40 km cycling and 10 km running) and he could repeat this success in 2012.
In June 2012, he qualified for the Olympic Games in London and went along with Nicola Spirig, Daniela Ryf and Sven Riederer of Switzerland at the start. He reached the 39th place.
In August 2013 he won for already the third time in a row the title of Swiss Champion Triathlon Olympic distance.
