Rupprecht von Keller

Rupprecht von Keller ( 19 * March 1910 in Schoeneberg, † 19 July 2003 in Tutzing ) was a German diplomat in the period of National Socialism and the Federal Republic.

Life

Parents: Friedrich von Keller, - until his dismissal by the National Socialist government in 1935 as German Ambassador to the League of Nations in Geneva - and Irene from country man, - daughter of the Bavarian Minister of Education Robert Ritter von compatriot. After his transfer back to Bonn in 1969 he acts as Deputy Head of the Legal Department of the Foreign Office. In August 1972, was appointed Ambassador to Canada and applies this office until his adoption into retirement in 1975. End of his life he spends up to his death in 2003 at the family home on Lake Starnberg. 1965 him the Great Cross of Merit is awarded with Star of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
