Ryszard Podlas

Ryszard Podlas ( born July 29, 1954 in Białobrzezie ) is a former Polish sprinter who specialized in the 400 -meter run.

The greatest success of his career, he celebrated at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal. The Polish 4 x 400 - meter relay team took in the lineup Ryszard Podlas, Jan Werner, Zbigniew Jaremski and Jerzy Pietrzyk the silver medal behind the team of the United States.

Another silver medal in the relay won Podlas at the European Athletics Championships 1978 in Prague together with Jerzy Wlodarczyk, Zbigniew Jaremski and Cezary Lapinski behind the team of the Federal Republic of Germany. At the European Athletics Championships in 1982 Podlas finished with the season in fourth place.
