S · A: Special A

Special A (Japanese S · A (スペシャル·エー) Supesharu ¢ ) is a manga series illustrator Maki Minami. She is assigned to the shōjo genre and has also been implemented as an anime television series.

Publications of the manga

In Japan Special A appeared from April 2003 to March 2009 in individual chapters in the manga magazine Hana to Yume of Hakusensha publishing house. These individual chapters are also published in 17 anthologies ( tankōbon ) regularly. In English, the manga was published by Viz Media in the USA.

In Germany 2007, three chapters in the manga magazine Daisuki were presented and published by Carlsen Comics from August 2007 to November 2011 in paperback.

Production and publication of the anime

In 2008, an anime television series produced by a partnership of the anime studio AIC and Gonzo. Directed by Yoshikazu Miyao, character designer was Kiyotaka Nakahara and the artistic director took over Ayumi Sugimoto. The series was from 7 April to 15 September 2008, after midnight (and thus on the previous TV day ) shown on television in Japan by Chiba TV, a few days later, the broadcast began in the programs by AT -X, TV Aichi, TV Kanagawa, TV Osaka and TV Saitama. The music production took over the company Pony Canyon.

The music of the series was composed by Rie Mitsunaga and Shogo Kaida. The header title comes from Yuko Goto Special Days, as the credits song was used Hidamari no Gate (陽 だまり の ゲート) by Jun Fukuyama, Hiro Shimono, Tsubasa and Kazuma Horie yonaga.

Radioplay

In February 2007, a radio drama CD was released in Japan to Special A. The plot revolves around Valentine's Day.
