Safri Duo

Safri Duo is a Danish musician duo who through his percussion stands out ( only Classical, Dance later ).

Career

The duo is composed of Uffe Savery and Morten Friis together (with Safri was composed of the two surnames ). Both are high school friends who have made together at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music her music diploma. Since 1988, both classical works have rewritten their percussion music and are thus occurred worldwide.

The breakthrough, however, came only when both changed their style and umstiegen to dance. Her biggest success was " Played- A-Live ( The Bongo Song) " (2001 # 2 in the German charts and # 1 on the Swiss and Danish charts). They also won the 2002 Echo for Best International Dance Act. Furthermore, they participated in the tour of the Nokia Night of the Proms in 2005 and played there some of her songs together with an orchestra.

In 2010 a Safri Duo in cooperation with Velile the World Cup Soundtrack Helele for RTL and the Swiss television.
