Sailen Manna

Sailen Manna (actually Sailendra Nath Manna, Bengali: শৈলেন্দ্র নাথ মান্না, Sailendra Nath Manna; born September 1, 1924 in Howrah, West Bengal, † February 27, 2012 in Calcutta) was an Indian football player.

Manna was active for the Mohun Bagan AC. He became famous as a barefoot playing soccer players at the Summer Olympics in 1948. In the Summer Olympics 1952, he led the Indian team as captain. In 2000 he was named by the AIFF Player of the Millennium.
