Saint-Michel-sur-Loire

Saint -Michel- sur -Loire is a municipality with 640 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Indre- et- Loire in the Centre region of France.

The inhabitants of Saint- Michellois, Saint- michelloises call themselves.

Geography

Saint -Michel- sur -Loire is situated about 30 kilometers west of Tours on the right bank of the Loire, and the parallel river Lane. The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park Loire -Anjou- Touraine.

History

Population Development

The population of the municipality reached the 1970s, its lowest value and now plays back slowly.

Policy

Jean -Pierre Josse was elected for the term 2008-2014 as mayor.
