Sainte-Soline

Sainte -Soline is a commune in the canton of Lezay in Deux-Sevres in the Poitou -Charentes with 342 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Geography

Sainte -Soline located in the historic landscape Poitou, about 39 kilometers east of the town of Niort. Neighboring municipalities are Lezay and Saint- Coutant in the West, Clussais la Pommeraie in the South, bed, Vanzay and Messé the east and Rome and Vançais in the north.

The main town located in the west of the municipality on the river Dive, at the Department of Road D15 Lezay after Vanzay. Between Lezay and Sainte -Soline are several small woods ( Bois du Chapitre, Bois de la Drouille ). In the north- east of the district are the other towns Asnières, Bonneuil and Verrines.
