Chey

Chey is a commune with 618 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Deux -Sèvres in the Poitou -Charentes. It belongs administratively to the district Niort and Canton Lezay.

Geography

Chey is located southwest of Poitiers in the Poitou historic landscape. Neighboring municipalities are Chenay in the north, Lezay in the east, Saint -Léger -de- la- Martinière in the south and Sepvret in the West.

In addition, Chey had a station on the railway line Parthenay -Melle Compagnie des Tramways des Deux -Sèvres (TDS ).
