Salim Kipsang

Salim Kipsang (* December 22, 1979 ) is a Kenyan long- distance runner who specializes in the marathon.

For the first time in 2002, he made attracted attention when he won the Grand Prix of Bern over 10 miles. In 2004 he moved to the marathon distance and was the Amsterdam Marathon seventh in 2:12:44.

In 2005, he rose to his winning the Paris Marathon on 2:08:04. In 2006, he was sixth at the Rotterdam Marathon, and in 2007 he ran as a third party in the Berlin marathon with 2:07:29 his best ever time.

In 2009 he won the Tokyo Marathon.
