Salvador Luis Reyes

Salvador Luis Reyes ( born September 28, 1968 in Guadalajara, Jalisco ) is a Mexican football coach and former player, who acted mainly in midfield. His name remember his father and grandfather Salvador Reyes Monteón Luis Reyes Ayala, who were also professional football players and both were working for the Club Deportivo Guadalajara many years.

Life

Player

His first game in the Mexican Primera División denied Reyes de la Peña on December 3, 1988 at his home club jersey Universidad de Guadalajara against the Tigres de la UANL in their 0-1 away defeat. His first Erstligator he succeeded on 11 February 1989 at the home game against the Cobras Ciudad Juárez, which has been lost 1:2. Immediately after this triumph Reyes left the University Club and played in the next four years for the Puebla FC. For the season 1995/96 he returned to his hometown and was standing by the CD Guadalajara under contract, in which his father was an important part of the best Chivas team of all time in the 1960s. But Salvador Reyes Jr. here could not sit down and brought it only to two Erstligaeinsätzen. Therefore, he left the club and ended his active career in the ranks of Atlético Celaya.

Coach

His first triumph as a coach celebrated Salvador Luis Reyes with the rise of the trained him second division club Gallos Blancos Queretaro in the first division. But at the end of the season 2006/ 07 was followed by the immediate descent; also directed by Reyes, who was allowed to attend the team in spite of failure over the entire Erstligasaison.

In the second half of 2007, he served as assistant coach for the club Necaxa in use, for which he was responsible, after the departure of the previous head coach Hans Westerhof as head coach in 2008.

In the second half of 2009, he coached the club Leon and 2010 he was an assistant coach Ruben Romano worked with Santos Laguna. Since January 2011, Reyes de la Peña is as Assistenztrainert for the Mexican national team in action.
