The Salzer Bach is a good one kilometers long right tributary of the Kahl in the Aschaffenburg district in the Bavarian Spessart.

Name

The Salzer creek is named after the Salzer way, an old salt trade route from Allendorf to the Rheingau, which ran along the creek.

Course

The Salzer creek rises in the grounds of the poultry club north of the forest pool of Alzenau. In association plot it is used for watering the animals. Below the pool of Salzer stream is passed into a flume in the 70 years between Castle Road and bike path. Previously, he was the right. At the former school of the Hahnenkamm stream flows in a piping. Past the castle Alzenau he reached the city center, where the Salzer Creek in the widths lawn opens at the Entengasse last inflow in the Kahl.

Before removing the Castle Road and the purpose-built piping of Salzer creek, you could see it flow open in the former rectory garden.
