Sampelga Department

Sampelga is both a municipality (French commune Rurale ) and a comprehensive department of the same territory in the West African state of Burkina Faso in the region and the province of Sahel Séno. The municipality has 19,258 inhabitants in nine villages and is located near the border with Niger.

In Sampelga there are manganese deposits.
