The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a based on the Android operating system tablet computer by the South Korean company Samsung. It was first presented on 2 September 2010 at the IFA and has since October 11, 2010 available in Germany.
The Galaxy competed in the market especially with the Apple iPad, whose sales figures show since the summer of 2010, as receptive is the market for tablet computers. On 13 February 2011, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 was introduced, which runs on Android 3.1 (Honeycomb ); is also with the Galaxy Tab Wifi device with a less powerful graphics unit and Bluetooth 2.1 instead of 3.0 on the market.

Technical details
The TFT LCD screen measures 7 inches with a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels. The 1.0 GHz processor ARM Cortex- A8 ( Hummingbird ) are 512 MB of memory. Additional features include a 3.2 - megapixel camera with LED flash on the back and a 1.3 MP camera for video calling on the front page, UMTS with HSDPA and HSUPA, Wi-Fi support and the touchscreen input Swype Help.
