Trivia

During the night from 15th to 16th September 1945, the team coach for the football team Rayados de Monterrey began in an accident in this town fire and eight of his players suffered some serious burns that did not survive two players. The accident occurred on the way to an away game of the Mexican soccer league in the 1945/46 season when based in Guadalajara Club Deportivo Oro.
