San Patricio del Chañar

San Patricio del Chañar is a municipality in the department ANELO the east of the province of Neuquen, Argentina to the southwest.

Geography

The community is located 45 kilometers away from the provincial capital of Neuquén on the left bank of the Río Neuquén.

History

The community was founded on 21 May 1973.

Viniculture

Viticulture is the main source of income of the municipality. In San Patricio del Chañar are the wineries Familia Schroeder, Bodega del Fin del Mundo and Bodega NQN.

Festivals

  • Fixed Pre Baradero. Every year in the third week of December.
