Sandra de Sá
Sandra de Sá ( born August 27, 1955 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian singer and composer.
Life
Sandra de Sá grew Pilares district of Rio de Janeiro in a musical family. In her childhood, she liked to go to Carnival and dance events. In the 1970s, she began to sing and compose. In 1980, she took with her composition Demonio colorido the festival MPB -80 TV Globo part and recorded her first record Sandra Sá. In the 1980s, a number of productions, among which the title Vale Tudo ( Tim Maia ), Bye Bye Tristeza and Enredo do Meu Samba appeared ( the theme song of the telenovela Partido Alto by TV Globo ) were very successful. Stylistically there was in their music a shift towards funk and soul. At present, their repertoire consists primarily of his own compositions and those of other musicians such as Carlinhos Brown and Herbert Vianna.
