Sandra de Sá

Sandra de Sá ( born August 27, 1955 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian singer and composer.

Life

Sandra de Sá grew Pilares district of Rio de Janeiro in a musical family. In her childhood, she liked to go to Carnival and dance events. In the 1970s, she began to sing and compose. In 1980, she took with her ​​composition Demonio colorido the festival MPB -80 TV Globo part and recorded her first record Sandra Sá. In the 1980s, a number of productions, among which the title Vale Tudo ( Tim Maia ), Bye Bye Tristeza and Enredo do Meu Samba appeared ( the theme song of the telenovela Partido Alto by TV Globo ) were very successful. Stylistically there was in their music a shift towards funk and soul.
