Sandra Nurmsalu

Sandra Nurmsalu (born 6 December 1988) is an Estonian singer and violinist. As a singer of the band Urban Symphony represented Estonia in the Euro they Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, finishing in sixth place in the final.

Life and Music

Sandra Nurmsalu attended school in Alavere (Town Anija in Harju County ). In 2007 she took part in the junior music show Kaks tactical ette of the public television station ETV Estonia. In summer 2008, she completed the prestigious Georg- Ots Music School in Tallinn as pop and jazz singer.

Sandra Nurmsalu lives with her six years older former gym instructor Tarmo Kase. The two have a daughter since July 2010.
