Sandra White

Sandra White ( born August 17, 1951) is a Scottish politician and member of the Scottish National Party ( SNP).

White visited the Garthamlock Secondary School in Glasgow, Glasgow's College and Cardonald College. The long-standing press officer of the William Wallace Society occurred in 1983 in the SNP. Before election to the Scottish Parliament White was a council member of Renfrewshire region for the District Foxbar, a suburb of Paisley.

In the Scottish Parliament elections in 1999 was a candidate for the constituency White Glasgow Kelvin, but could not prevail against Pauline McNeill of the Labour Party itself. On the basis of the election results but White was one of four mandates of the regional election list for the SNP in the constituency of Glasgow and moved into the newly created Scottish Parliament. In the parliamentary elections in 2003 and parliamentary elections in 2007, White ran again for Glasgow Kelvin, but could not combine the necessary vote to himself. However, in both cases she defended her mandate constituency. White finally succeeded in the 2011 parliamentary elections for the first time the direct mandate for Glasow Kelvin to win.
