Sanford L.P.

Sanford is an American manufacturer of writing instruments and drawing instrument and belongs since 1992 to the consolidated Newell Rubbermaid.

A characteristic feature of Sanford is that it offers its products primarily not under his own name, but under the acquired brand names. Over time, has acquired many well-known brand names Sanford trademark. The best-known brand names are well Rotring, Parker and Paper Mate (both acquired by Gillette ) and Waterman. Since 23 November 2005, DYMO heard ( acquired by Esselte ) with its label and labeling systems to Sanford. The German branch of Sanford was born in 1998 through the sale of Rotring -Werke Riepe KG to Sanford, which has since been renamed in Sanford GmbH. In German-speaking Sanford hardly occurs under the name Sanford in appearance, which is why there is no German-speaking website at Sanford, but only under the respective brands.
