The Santa Lucía River is a river in Uruguay.

Geography

River course

The 230 km long river originates at an altitude of 250 meters above sea level at Cerro Pelado in the Sierra Carapé. From its source in the department there Lavalleja near the city of Minas it flows from east to west, forming the border of the departments Florida and Canelones. Subsequently, its course changes in a southerly direction, where he is now the departments of Canelones and San José from each other. It flows past the town of Santa Lucía, from the town of Aguas Corrientes, the river is navigable.
