Šárka Pančochová

Sarka Pancochova ( [ ʃa ː rka pantʃoxova ː ]; born November 1, 1990 in Uherské Hradiště, Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech snowboarder. In the World Cup it takes since November 2007. The following year, she became Junior World Champion in the discipline of Big Air, and in 2009 she was ninth at the World Championships in the halfpipe. On 7 January 2010, she won the Austrian Kreischberg first event in the World Cup and qualified for by the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Canada, where she placed 14th in the halfpipe. In the Snowboard World Cup 2011 in La Molina, she won her first major medal among adults when she won the silver medal in the slopestyle. In the same discipline she also won silver at the X-Games 2013.

She qualified for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, where she reached the finals of the slopestyle. She won her first race, but crashed on the second run hard, but was then on its own to achieve the target space.
